ARC Raiders Showstopper Blueprint – Practical Player Guide

What is the Showstopper and what does it really do?

The Showstopper is a rare grenade that detonates after a short delay and stuns everything in its radius.

In practice, this means:

  • ARC units are disabled for a noticeable amount of time.

  • Enemy Raiders are briefly stunned and unable to react.

  • No direct damage is dealt.

  • The effect radius is about 6 meters, which is larger than most players expect.

You should think of it as a control tool, not a weapon. Its value is in stopping movement, canceling pressure, and creating safe windows.

Why is the Showstopper blueprint important?

You can sometimes find Showstoppers while scavenging, but relying on loot alone is not consistent.

The blueprint lets you craft Showstoppers whenever you have the materials. This is important because:

  • Utility grenades are often used in bursts, not one at a time.

  • Losing a few in bad raids is normal.

  • Late-game areas expect you to have crowd control options.

With the blueprint unlocked, you can maintain a steady supply instead of hoping for drops.

How do you craft Showstoppers?

To craft one Showstopper, you need:

  • 1× Advanced Electrical Components

  • 1× Voltage Converter

  • Explosives Station Level 3

  • The Showstopper Blueprint learned

These materials are not rare individually, but they compete with other high-tier crafts. Most players end up choosing between grenades, ammo upgrades, or equipment repairs.

In real play, it’s common to batch-craft several at once instead of making them one by one.

How does the stun actually behave in combat?

The stun is delayed. You throw the grenade, and it detonates shortly after landing. This matters a lot for positioning.

Against ARC:

  • The stun duration is long enough to fully disengage or reposition.

  • Many ARC enemies will completely stop attacking during the effect.

  • It works best when enemies are grouped or coming through narrow paths.

Against Raiders:

  • The stun is shorter, but still strong.

  • It interrupts aiming, movement, and ability usage.

  • It often decides close-range fights if timed well.

The key point is that Showstopper rewards prediction, not reaction.

When should you use a Showstopper instead of saving it?

A common mistake is holding Showstoppers “for later” and then dying with them.

Good moments to use one:

  • When you are outnumbered by ARC and need space.

  • When another Raider is pushing aggressively.

  • When reviving a teammate under pressure.

  • When extracting and enemies are contesting the area.

Bad moments to use one:

  • On a single weak ARC that you can easily avoid.

  • When you have clear escape routes and no pressure.

  • As a panic throw with no plan to move or reposition.

In practice, Showstopper is most valuable when it creates time, not when it reacts to damage already taken.

How do experienced players aim and throw it?

Most skilled players do not aim directly at the enemy.

Instead, they:

  • Throw it slightly ahead of moving targets.

  • Bounce it off walls or door frames to control detonation position.

  • Use terrain to force enemies to stay inside the radius.

Because of the delay, the grenade works best when enemies are forced to commit to a path. Chokepoints, stairwells, and narrow corridors are ideal.

Is the Showstopper better for PvE or PvP?

It is strong in both, but for different reasons.

In PvE:

  • It allows safe disengagement.

  • It prevents swarm situations.

  • It makes elite ARC units much easier to manage.

In PvP:

  • It breaks momentum.

  • It forces repositioning.

  • It creates opening shots and free reload windows.

Many players carry at least one Showstopper in PvP-heavy zones, even if they are not planning to fight.

What are the common mistakes with this grenade?

From experience, the most frequent problems are:

  • Throwing too close and getting caught in the stun yourself.

  • Using it too late, when enemies already have line of fire.

  • Forgetting the delay and expecting instant effect.

  • Wasting it on low-threat situations.

Treat it like a tool, not a panic button.

Is the blueprint hard to get?

The blueprint is not always easy to find, and RNG can be unfriendly.

Some players choose to focus on farming it. Others prefer trading. This is also why you will often see players mention that you can trade ARC Raiders blueprints easily on U4N when direct drops are not cooperating.

Either way, once you have it, your overall survivability and control options improve noticeably.

Is crafting Showstoppers worth the resource cost?

In most cases, yes.

Compared to the cost of losing a good weapon, armor, or full backpack, the materials for one Showstopper are relatively cheap.

Many veteran players see utility grenades as insurance:

  • One well-timed stun can save an entire run.

  • One failed run costs much more than a few components.

That trade-off usually favors crafting.

How many should you carry into a raid?

There is no fixed number, but common patterns are:

  • 1–2 for scouting or farming runs.

  • 2–3 for high-risk zones.

  • More only if you are specifically planning heavy combat.

Carrying too many limits your loot space and increases loss on death.

The Showstopper blueprint is not about power. It is about control, safety, and flexibility.

If you use it thoughtfully, it changes how fights feel. You are no longer forced to take every engagement head-on. You decide when to pause the fight, when to reposition, and when to disengage.
